Following qualification as a Solicitor, Philip Quigley worked
exclusively in Construction and Engineering Law for a number of
major City Law Firms including Addleshaw Booth and Co and Eversheds.
In 2003, he formed and is the Principal of Quigley and Company,
a practice located in Richmond, Surrey specialising initially in
Construction and Engineering Law and which has recently added a
Matrimonial and Family Law department.
Philip’s experience includes contract drafting and procurement
strategy, he advises on bespoke and the Standard Forms of Building
Contracts and all contract documentation including Warranties and
Professional Appointments.
His contentious experience includes Arbitration, Litigation, Alternative
Dispute Resolution and Adjudication. He has worked for Contractors,
Employers, Funders, Consultants and Sub-Contractors.
Philip has experience in a wide ranging number of construction
related sectors including Railways, Tunnelling, Health Centres,
Commercial Developments, Retail and Interior Fit-Out as well as
vast experience in general construction matters.
He has extensive experience in all forms of Dispute Resolution
and regularly represents clients in the Technology and Construction
Court. He has also represented clients in The Court of Appeal as
well as having considerable experience in Adjudication and Mediation.
